The Office Season 6 Episodes Premieres September 17

On January 15, 2009, it was announced that NBC renewed The Office series for a sixth season with 26 episodes. The season will premiere on September 17 and there will be a one-hour special on October 8. The episodes will air on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. EDT

The sixth season will continue the American adaptation of the British TV series of the same name as a mockumentary portraying the daily lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictitious Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
